Detailed description
Regardless of size and business area, whether private company or public institution: An unexpected crisis can seriously affect any organisation. From one moment to the next, day-to-day business becomes secondary and crisis management takes centre stage. Crisis communication is key to involving the persons and groups affected and restoring trust. This only works with good preparation. Is there systematic risk management, a crisis team and communication plans? Do employees know how to react to a shitstorm? Is there a plan for contacting customers? In an initial meeting, we go through a checklist together and look at how the organisation's preventive crisis communication is set up. Based on this, we identify any gaps and examine how the organisation can better prepare for crises so that it is not overwhelmed in an emergency.
